Chameleon HYBRID-MICRO Wide band Wire antenna, 1.8-54 MHz

The Chameleon HYBRID-MICRO is an even lighter version of the HYBRID-MINI broadband antenna, which can be used in the entire frequency range from 1.8 - 54 MHz.

The total weight, for example with 20 m antenna wire, is only about 500 g. This makes this antenna very suitable for hiking, all components can easily be stored in a small backpack or travel luggage.

The base is a downsized version of the wideband matching unit base, again equipped with 3/8" connectors for mechanical mounting.

The HYBRID-MICRO series antennas are available with various wire lengths. Simply select the one that suits your application. Independently of this, further wire lengths and a variety of other accessories are available for the hybrid series. So ideal for experimenting or optimizing your antenna.

The achievable VSWR is determined by the specific setup. An elevated and free installation of the antenna - for example in a tree - will give the most effective results.

Maximum transmit power is 100W SSB or 50W CW and thus for portable operation in most cases quite sufficient. Coaxial feeding is done via the integrated SO-239 connector.

The included winder allows to store the antenna wire neatly and free of knots for transport. This helps to save material and nerves.
