VGR Antenna 70cm band
This new antenna type looks like a vertical antenna but radiates with horizontal polarisation and high gain.
The antenna has a bidirectional radiation with an 8-shaped
radiation diagramm, just like a horizontal dipole. The gain ranges from
10 to 12 dBi, depending on installation height over ground, in free
space around 7 dBi. The radiation angle of radiation very low, about 13°
at installation 1m above ground, or 7° at 3m above ground.
The VGR Antenna does not require radials, the feed point is at the
bottom, the connector is a N-jack. Maximum power load is 250 W PEP SSB
or 100 W FM.
The loops are made of corrosion-resistant aluminium and all screws are made of stainless steel.
The 70m antenna is available completely assembled including mast clamp. Height ca. 80cm, N-jack.
