Flat panel antennas consist of one or more radiators placed in front of a reflecting backside. With this principle short, robust and unobtrusive antennas can be designed, which have a high gain and a high bandwidth. Our flat panel antennas are made from weatherproof aluminum, all other hardware is stainless steel. The antennas can be mounted with either horizontal or vertical polarization, all mounting hardware for mast mount is included. The radome protects the antenna system against adverse weather like rain, hail or snow.
The model PA-13Dual (18033.DUAL) is an antenna with two system, intended for 802.11n (MIMO) applications.
The antenna PA-13RDUAL (18033.DUAL) is an antenna including two systems with different polarisation (V/H). It is intended for point-to-point apllications using the 802.11N technology. Normally 802.11n makes use of indoor reflections, resulting in multi-path propagation and higher throughput. WIth point-to-point systems (outdoor) you usually have no or only little reflections, 802.11n can not achieve it's full potential. But with the use of two different polarised antennas a multi-path enviroment is simulated, and 802.11n can again be used at higher data rates.
The PA-13TRI, is a version with 2 by 45 ° apart horizontal antennas and one vertical antenna. This results in a larger opening angle without shadowing effects. The antenna has 3 elements with 14 dBi gain, and comes with a tilt mount. If you are looking for a MIMO antenna for highest standards, this antenna is the right.
